Representatives of Abai KazNPU visited Moscow universities

As part of the Action Plan of Abai KazNPU for the implementation of the conceptual foundations of the «Rouhani Jangyru» program for 2018-2019, Saule Begaliyeva, Head of the Department of Philological Specialties for Foreign Citizens, Professor Bakhytgul Balgazina and Associate Professor Guncham Nurakhunova were on a business trip to Moscow (Russia) from April 8 to 13 at the Russian University of Peoples` Friendship (PFUR) and Moscow State Pedagogical University (MSPU).

The goal is to resolve organizational issues (timelines, consultations, group formation, documentation support, etc.) related to testing foreign citizens in Russian as a foreign language (TORFL) at Abai KazNPU under the Agreement on cooperation between Abai KazNPU and PFUR (No. ZLT-55 dated May 8, 2018), as well as participation in the International Online Conference «Language and Culture in the 21st Century».

The following work has been done:
1) A visit to the Center of Culture and Science after Abai at MSPU (April 8);
2) a meeting with the dean of the faculty of the Russian language and general education disciplines of RUDN, N.V. Pomortseva at which issues of advanced training and retraining of personnel according to the methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language were discussed (April 8);
3) A meeting with the director of the Institute of Philology, MSPU, Professor E.G. Chernysheva, where a signing an agreement on cooperation between Abai KazNPU and MSPU for testing foreign citizens in the Russian language was reached (April 9);
4) Participation in the International Online Conference «Language and Culture in the XXI Century» at RUDN and MSPU (April 10);
5) Meeting with the deputy Dean for additional education of RUDN, P.V. Sapozhnikov, where organizational issues for testing foreign citizens on RCTs in KazNPU (April 11) were resolved;
6) a meeting with the head of the Russian-Chinese Coordination and Methodological Center of the Moscow State Pedagogical University A.V. Yudin, where issues of recruiting foreign citizens to universities were discussed (April 12);
7) Participation in the Open Day of the Institute of Philology of the Moscow State Pedagogical University and the Total Dictation (April 13).
