Undergraduates of the West Kazakhstan State University named after M. Utemisov underwent scientific training

From 8 to 24 April 2019, eleven undergraduates of the first course of the specialties «6M011400-History» and «6M020300-History» of the West Kazakhstan State University named after M. Utemisov underwent a scientific mobility program at the Institute of History and Law of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai. The goal is to prepare modern scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel.

To familiarize with the work of the departments and the ten-day program of scientific internships, as well as plans for working with the library and archival fund, the advisor of undergraduates of scientific internship senior lecturer Muhtar Muratkazin met and discussed work plans with the director of the Institute of History and Law, Professor Bolat Zhumagulov.

During the scientific internship, qualified specialists of the Institute of History and Law gave lectures for undergraduates of academic mobility. So doctor PhD Kamshat Rustem held lectures «Жаңартылған білім беру бағдарламасы аясында енгізілген өзгерістер, критериалды бағалаудың артықшылықтары» and «Қазақстанда цензура жүйесінің қалыптасу тарихы», Associate Professor Baurzhan Zhangutin «Digital History жобасы, тарихтың көпшілікке арналған (public) және ғылыми (science) түрлері арасындағы айырмашылықты білу», Professor Khanzada Suteeva on the topic «1917 жылдан бергі Қазақстан тарихының Ресей тарихнамасы» and Professor Mereke Tulekova on the subject «Аймақтық демографиялық мәселелер».

In addition, undergraduates working as part of an internship with the book fund of the Academy of Sciences, the Institute of History and Ethnology. Sh. Ualikhanov, the Central State Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan gained access to sources regarding their dissertations.

At the end of the ten-day internship, undergraduates were awarded special certificates by the Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation Aktolkyn Turlykhanovna.

For making a great contribution to the improvement of educational experience during the internship undergraduates of West Kazakhstan State University named after Utemisov in the specialties «History 6М011400» and «History of Science 6М020300» expressed their gratitude to the staff of the Institute of History and Law of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University, the organizers of scientific internships.
