The fight against corruption is in the foreground
Recently, the Kazakh-French Forum «Security: The Role of the State and Society» was held at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.
The purpose of the forum - to discuss current issues of rule of law and security; the national interests of diplomacy, digitization as a new safety factor, education, health and safety, financial security and business in the context of globalization.
Rector Takir Balykbayev, President of the Constitutional Council of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Mami, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the French Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan Philippe Martiné, Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Igor Rogov, Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, also prominent EU experts, heads of state bodies of the two countries, representatives of the diplomatic corps, eminent Kazakh and foreign scientists, public figures, scientific experts from French research institutes, rectors and representatives of renowned French universities: Sorbonne University, University of Strasbourg, University of Lorraine, University of Toulouse, University of Poitiers, etc.
Olzhas Bektenov noted recent advances in public service. Currently, digitalization technology is widely used in this area. To date, 69% of the work has been copied to electronic format, and 16% is implemented through the «one window» system. The main priorities are anti-corruption policies, the rule of law and the strengthening of civil society. Anti-corruption measures and anti-bureaucratic actions are carried out in the public service.
During the forum «Security: The Role of the State and Society», the representatives of the two countries made presentations and exchanged their experiences.
The Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Kazakhstan also noted that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau in the field of security of people, society and the state is working purposefully. The fight against corruption is a common responsibility of every citizen and society as a whole. Any form of corruption cannot be ignored. At the same time, we pay close attention to the best practices of partners from France and other countries.
The international forum was very informative and effective, the discussion of the issues presented at the seminar was constructive.
