Round table «Formula of peace and harmony: social unity and modernization»

On June 4, 2019, at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University held a round table «Formula of peace and harmony: social unity and modernization». Organizers: Chair of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan of Abai KazNPU and Small Student Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan «Birlik» of Abai KazNPU.

The purpose of the event is the modernization of the program of the course «Kazakhstan model of interethnic and interconfessional consent of Nursultan Nazarbayev» and its introduction in the universities of the republic for the development and education of the young generation of spiritual values.

Heads of institutes, teaching staff, members of the SS APK «Birlik» and 1st year students of the university attended the meeting.

The rector of our university, Takir Balykbayev, opened the round table. «I gathered you today to exchange views on the promotion of our project, «Kazakhstan`s model of interethnic consent of Nursultan Nazarbayev»: what has been done during implementation, what are the results, your suggestions, what else needs to be done, what research to conduct? Very important question - what does the small student Assembly «Birlik». Why does not manifest itself, does not hold bright mass events. To promote and modernize the issue of inter-ethnic harmony, it is necessary to hold seminars, conferences, forums, festivals within the university and, possibly, on a city scale. On May 23, 2018, the chair of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan was opened in KazNPU. This is a very important event in the life of our university, because the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan is not just an organizational structure, it is an integral part of our life, a symbol of our peace and unity. Through the unification of all ethnocultural associations of the country, the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev managed to create such an organization that managed to establish a constructive dialogue and mutual understanding in our multinational country», said Takir Balykbayev. Also, the rector raised a question on the program «Kazakh tanu» and holding a seminar on the subject «Kazakhstan model of interethnic consent of N.Nazarbayev» at the Summer School at all by the university institutes.

At the meeting, presentations were made by Georgy Kan, Head of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the EA «Barbang», Kniyaz Mirzoyev, Head of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation, Zhomart Simtikov, Head of the Department of Political Science and Socio-Philosophical Subjects, Academician of APS, Deputy Director of the Center for Advanced Studies and distance education Alexander Semchenko, chairman of the Birlik club, 2nd year student of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Aziz Abdushakirov.

In the debate were the head. Saylaubek Taukeiuly, Professor, Temirkhan Tebegenov, Head of the UNESCO Department, Gennady Selyutin, Head of the Civil Defense Department, Yevgeny Saltanov, Head of the Ruhani Zhankyru Project, Borasyn Imanberdiev, Senior Lecturer, Eastern Philosophy and Translation, Khalminyan Masimov, Professor, Russian, Gulmira Kazhgaliyeva.

All speakers noted the importance of introducing the module - the subject «Kazakhstan model of interethnic consent of N.Nazarbayev» and made proposals for further modernization of the development of interethnic consent. The participants of the event unanimously supported the words of the rector that it was necessary to enhance the role of the small assembly of «Birlik» and help in promoting its work.
