Central Asian Youth Festival was held

On August 22, 2019, the Central Asian Youth Festival was held in Almaty, where the Rector of Abai National Pedagogical University - T.O. Balykbayev and the Director of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute of Abai National Pedagogical University - A.A. Sabitova took part.

The organizers of this event are the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy and Almaty City Akimat, with the participation of the Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy - A.O. Issekeshev and Almaty City Akim - B.A. Sagintayev. Speakers of the Central Asian Youth Festival were: Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy - I.I. Rogov, Adviser on Political Affairs of the OSCE Office in Nur-Sultan - Colin McCullow and many other representatives of various spheres of Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries.

The purpose of this festival is the development of political literacy and an active position of youth, the creation of a platform for future dialogue to deepen regional integration, the expansion of planned cooperation between the youth of Central Asian countries, and the development of the potential of young leaders in the region.

Tasks: familiarization with the methods of combating unemployment, ensuring and protecting civil rights and freedoms, digitalization of the economy; creating a dialogue platform for discussing youth issues and mechanisms for implementing youth policy; involvement of active youth in the implementation of regional integration projects; acquaintance of youth with the peculiarities of the geopolitical situation in Central Asia; training and professional development of specialists in the field of immigration policy, education, economic development, national security; establishment of an initiative group / organization / virtual platform following the results of the festival, which would become a contact link between the participants.

- Session 7. «Polyethics: a model of peace and harmony»,
Master classes and design work were also held.
