«Pedagogical ring» was held

As part of the Year of Youth, on November 14, 2019, the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics held an intellectual competition-competition for educational achievements of students «Pedagogical ring».

This open interactive event, organized by Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Zhumasheva Svetlana Satybaldievna, was held with the aim of developing pedagogical competence, creativity and mobility of future teachers. The competition consisted of six conditional rounds. Therefore, if in the first round «Blitz» the theoretical knowledge of the participants was evaluated, then in the next practicalround «Case Study» - students` skills in finding various options for pedagogical solutions to real school problems in the context of updated educational content were tested.

In the «Bluff» round, it was required to give professionally competent and mobile answers to the most common questions in society about modern education. The fourth round showed the willingness of participants to conduct various physical exercises aimed at improving the health of a modern student.

The next round of «Impromptu» revealed the comprehensive knowledge of each participant in the lecture course of pedagogy, their ability to substantively and to creatively explain the competitive topic given to them. In the last round, the teams competed in creating advertisements for modern teaching and methodological tools of a teacher and student.

Thus, the competition showed great interest, cognitive independence and collective responsibility of participating teams, their pedagogical abilities.
