Literary and musical evening «Abay aytadi ...»

On November 28, 2019, the literary and musical evening «Abai aytadi...» was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Almaty. The event, prepared by high school students and their mentors, is dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet and thinker Abay Kunanbaev.

The guest of the evening was the director of the research center «Hakim Abay» of our university, Zhabal Shoyynbet Alshynbekuly. The scientist spoke in detail about the poetic and philosophical heritage of Abay, about his role in the development of modern Kazakh literature. All participants in the educational event noted that it was held at a high level.
