Choosing a profession-choosing the future

The Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography hosted a meeting «Choosing a profession-choosing the future» with students of the Zh. Kaiypov school of Enbekshikazakh district of Almaty region on May 19, 2023.

Organizers: Deputy Director for Educational work of the Institute Serik Bakirov, responsible for career guidance Yerlan Birtalaev, Zhanar Zhaksibayeva, Professor of the Department Bahadur Abdimanapov. The purpose of the meeting is to give students a direction in choosing a profession and to tell the features of various specialties.

During the meeting, the director of the Institute Kulyash Kaimuldinova shared the subtleties of teaching, told about the achievements and professions of the institute.

The students were given a tour of the departments, they visited the educational laboratories. The students of the school got acquainted with the newly equipped office of the geographical information system (GIS) of the Institute and the educational laboratories of the Departments of Chemistry and Biology. The students of the Institute showed interesting chemical experiments. They answered students` questions and exchanged opinions.

At the end of the meeting, a tour of the Abai Museum was held. The students expressed their gratitude to the organizers.
