Nigde Omer Halisdemir University delegation visits Abai KazNPU

On January 22nd, 2018, Abai KazNPU`s senior administration hosted the six-person delegation from Nigde Omer Halisdemir University led by Rector Prof.Dr. Muhsin Kar.

A meeting was opened with the presentation of Nigde Omer Halisdemir University.

First Vice-Rector Prof. Maktagali Bektemessov and Rector of Nigde Omer Halisdemir University Prof. Muhsin Kar signed a bilateral cooperation agreement on research and academic and student`s exchange.

This agreement presumes to develop double-diploma programmes, master and doctoral students short-period internship, as well as exchange programmes Mevlana and international credit mobility and staff within the programme Erasmus+. Colleagues from Nigde Omer Halisdemir University were interested in research on Turkic languages. At the meeting representatives of both universities also discussed possibilities of organising and running symposiums in the field of natural and humanitarian sciences with involving researchers of Turkic nations.

We hope this partnership of two universities will be a key contribution to the development of Kazakh-Turkish collaboration.
