On 21 November, 2017 at 11.00 in connection with the program of the Head of State "Modernization of Kazakhstan`s identity" on the basis of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, the general meeting of the Department of social sciences and humanities of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan will be held, where the issues of the transition of the Kazakh alphabet to the Latin alphabet will be discussed. DDuring the meeting there will be a speech of the President of the NAS RK M.Zh. Zhurinov.
Director of A.Baitursynov Institute of Linguistics E.Z.Kazhybek, member of the NAS RK, chief researcher of A.Baytursynov Institute of Linguistics A.Aitbayev, vice-rector of Abai KazNPU Corresponding Member of NAS RK G.Kenzhebayev will make basic and additional reports.

In addition, a new membership of the Department of social sciences and humanities of the NAS RK will be approved, and other issues will be considered.
