Literary and informative evening «Abay - Kazakh khalkynyn uly akyny»

On February 19, 2020, in honor of the 175th anniversary of the great poet, enlightener and philosopher Abai Kunanbaev, the literary and educational evening «Abai - Kazakh khalkynyn uly akyny» was held in the university`s scientific library. During the event, a book exhibition «Abay tulgasy mangilik tulga» was held. The evening was opened by the director of the scientific library Imansydykova Nurgul Zhailauovna.

Guests of the event: Director of the «Hakim Abay» Research Center Shoyinbet Zhabal, Director of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics Bekpatshaev Murat, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Hamraev Sheripidin, Deputy Director for Educational Work Mukashev Zhasulan and students.

Students performed the works of Abai, demonstrated their talents. Library staff read verses of the great Kazakh poet in different languages of the world.

Books were presented to students of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science for active participation.
