Took place Inauguration of the lecture room named after Hero of the Soviet Union, a famous military leader Baurzhan Momyshuly at the chair of theory and methodology of basic military training at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

The opening ceremony was attended by the chairman of the council of veterans of Medeu district of Almaty, Doctor of Military Sciences, professor, Colonel Kim Serikbayuly Serikbayev, daughter - in- law of  B.Momyshuly, writer Zeynep Akhmetova, the grandson of the hero Yerzhan Momyshuly and well-known scientists.

The students of the military chair showed the audience their skills in combat training, unarmed combat, weapons assembly and disassembly. After the ceremonial ribbon cutting academician NAS RK K. Naribayev and rector of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University S.Zh. Praliyev, head of the chair of theory and methodology of basic military training.

    Colonel Kim Serikbayuly told about B.Momyshuly as a prominent military strategist. Daughter-in - law Zeynep Akhmetova told about the family traditions. Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan K. Naribayev stressed personality traits  of B.Momyshuly as a citizen and patriot of his people.

   Rector of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University  S. Zh. Praliyev expressed the hope that the lecture room will be in the future center of patriotic education of youth.
