al-Farabi`s «Treatise on the views of the inhabitants of a virtuous city» is relevant today

On April 27, 2020, the teacher of the Department of World History of the Institute of History and Law, Mamyrbayev Didar held an online educational hour where the secrets of a happy society were discussed in the famous work of the great medieval scholar and philosopher Abu Nasr al-Farabi`s «Treatise on the Views of the inhabitants of a Virtuous City».

The description and analysis of this work by al-Farabi was presented through the opinion of such prominent personalities as Mashkhur Zhusup and Abai Kunanbayev. According to modern scholars studying the scientific legacy of Al-Farabi, the description of the treatise today is as relevant as the work itself.
