The results of the creative contest «Abai Umіtі»

On June 1, 2020, the International Children`s Day, within the framework of the 175th anniversary of Abai, the art reading contest «Abay Umiti» held for the children of our university staff was completed.

The competition was held in online format.

In the period of May 20-28, 55 video clips from pre-school children, primary school pupils and 5th-7th grades were collected on the Watsap numbers of the organizers. The submitted works were reviewed by age categories of the participants.

According to the terms of the contest, the best works were selected and the participants were well prepared for expressive reading. Prize places were taken by 18 video clips.

In the age group of 3-5 years of preschool age:
Grand Prix - Zholzhaksin Adil, 6 years old, grandmother - janitor of hostel № 8 O.A.Zholzhaksin;
1st place - Bolatkul Nurasyl, 5 years old, mother: employee S. Ospan;
2nd place - Toktar Kausar, 3 years old, father - teacher D. Aliaskarov;
2nd place - Duisenbek Maria, 4 years old, grandfather - teacher D. Omiraliev;
3rd place - Nurmakhanbet Aynara, 5 years old, father - teacher E. Tugelbayev;
3rd place - Nabi Nurlybayev, 6 years old, father - employee M. Nurlybayev.

Among pupils of primary classes:
Grand Prix - Temirbolat Tomiris, 9 years old, mother - teacher S. Shokanova;
1st place - Duysen Alizhan, 7 years old, grandmother - associate professor Estaeva G.J.;
2nd place - Jabalbai Ayaru, 10 years old, grandfather - director of SRC «Hakim Abai» J.Soyynbet;

All winning participants were noted for their high level of training and skills.

For the first time on June 1 in honor of the International Children`s Day a creative competition was organized under the guidance of the Administrative Department of the University, thanks to the support of the local trade union of employees of Abai KazNPU with valuable gifts. Members of the student rectorate organized the event. Employees and teaching staff of the University actively encouraged and expressed their gratitude to the children and grandchildren for active participation in the contest.

Participants sent special video works not only from Almaty, but also from Zhambyl, Turkestan, Karaganda and Almaty regions, Nur-Sultan and Geneva, Switzerland.

Along with the winners, all children were awarded prizes and special diplomas on behalf of the rector.

In its strategic principles, the university administration pays special attention not only to the education of young people and to their personal development, but also to the social status of teachers, who provide training for future specialists.
