Scientists of the Department of Jurisprudence entered the TOP-50 educators of universities of Kazakhstan


Scientists of the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU (Doctors of Law), Head of the Department of Jurisprudence Buribaev Ermek Abiltayevich and Professor Khamzina Zhanna Amangeldinovna entered the TOP-50 educators of universities of Kazakhstan according to the results of the National rating-2020.


E.A. Buribayev is one of the leading scientists representing Kazakhstani legal science at the world level. Elsevier-Scopus international companies recognized him as the best social science researcher in «the Best Researcher in Social Sciences» nomination, in 2018 and 2019. He have published over 250 scientific papers. He is the author of 8 monographs, 4 monographs were published in foreign publishers in English, 5 monographs are indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI). The author of two textbooks.


Over 40 of his articles have been published in foreign scientific journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. He has a Hirsch index based on Scopus - 11; received 15 Certificates of state registration of rights to copyright objects issued by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2018, he was awarded the medal of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan «For Contribution to the Development of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan» and recognized as the "Best University Teacher". In 2016, E.A. Buribayev, the only representative from Kazakhstan and Central Asia, was elected as an individual member of the International Union of Notaries (UINL, Buenos Aires, Argentina).


In 2020, he was included in seven working groups on the modernization and development of draft laws on labor and social security legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.


Zh.A. Khamzina is a leading scientist in the field of legal support of social protection of the population, hired labor in Kazakhstan. The author of textbooks recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan as textbooks for universities: «Labor Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan» published in 2004, 2014, 2018 and 2019, and «The Law of Social Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan», published in 2006 and 2014, which made it possible for the first time to provide teaching and learning in these areas of law to the full extent. Her proposals for improving the state policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of social protection, set out in publications and expert opinions, were the basis for the development of social legislation of the Concept of legal policy of the country for the period from 2010 to 2020. Over 200 scientific works were published, including 9 monographs, 4 monographs were published in foreign publishing houses in English, 5 - indexed in the RSCI database, the author of 6 textbooks and 3 study guides, 35 articles published in international journals indexed in scientometric databases: Scopus and Web of Science. She has an Hirsch index of 11 (Scopus). In 2018, she was recognized as the best social science researcher by Elsevier-Scopus international companies in the 1st Scopus Award Ceremony in the nomination «Best Researcherin Social Sciences».


In 2018 she was awarded the medal of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan «For Contribution to the Development of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan», was recognized as the «Best Teacher» in 2019. She received 17 Certificates of state registration of rights to copyright objects issued by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2020, she was included in the seven working groups on the modernization and development of draft laws on labor and social security legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. By the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 13, 2020 No. 290, she was appointed a member of the National Scientific Council.
