International online round table «World reconized Abai» 

On August 10, 2020, an international online round table "WORLD RECOGNIZED ABAY" was held within the framework of the Abai University Strategy for the Day of Abai. The organizers of the event are the Department of Philological Specialties for Foreign Citizens of the Faculty for Foreign Citizens and Pre-University Training, "Research Institute named after Khakim Abai" in Abai KazNPU, department of international scientific and cultural relations.

The moderator of round table was Head of Department of Philological Specialties for Foreign Citizens, Professor Bagaliyeva Saule Bayazovna.

The round table was opened by the rector of Abai KazNPU - Balykbayev Takir Ospanovich. The rector of the Moscow State Pedagogical University Lubkov Alexey Vladimirovich (Russia) made a welcoming speech.

The round table was attended by prominent public figures, scientists, as well as educational and scientific organizations of Kazakhstan and other countries: Semei State University named after K. Shakarim, Moscow State Pedagogical University (Russia), Pomerian Academy in Slupsk (Poland) , Hanoi National Pedagogical University (Vietnam), Kyrgyz Academy of Education (Kyrgyzstan), Baku State University (Azerbaijan), Firat University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (Turkey).

Round table guests: diplomat, public figure, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Murat Auezov (Kazakhstan), rector of Moscow State Pedagogical University Lubkov Alexey Vladimirovich (Russia), professor of Hanoi National Pedagogical University Chan Din Lam (Vietnam), director of the Abai Center at the Baku State University of Dursunova Fatima Askerovna (Azerbaijan), Dr. Ercan Alkaya, professor at Firat University (Turkey), director of the laboratory of the state language of the Kyrgyz Academy of Education Rysbaev Suleiman, professor at Semipalatinsk State University named after K. Shakarim, member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan Otepbaev Nurbulan Nugymanovich.

The geography of participants and listeners is wide: scientists, politicians, public figures, diplomats, artists, teachers, students, undergraduates, doctoral students from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Russia, Vietnam, Turkey. In total, about 70 people attended the online roundtable.

Otepbaev Nurbulan Nugymanovich, a member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, presented paintings to KazNPU named after Abai and Abai Centers abroad.
At the round table were demonstrated thematic videos prepared by foreign students studying at Abai KazNPU.

2nd year student of the specialty "Two foreign languages" at KazNPU Zhansaya Adil read her poems dedicated to Abai Kunanbayev. Also were presented the video performances of the winners of the children`s creative competition "Abai Umit".

In conclusion, Kulsarieva Aktolkyn Turlykhanovna, Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation, thanked all the participants of the event, noted the high activity and interest of the audience in the language, culture, history of the Kazakh people, as well as in the knowledge of the personality, heritage and philosophy of Abai Kunanbayev.
As a recommendation, the participants of the round table put forward a resolution, which proposed the creation of a large-scale organization ABAY-ALLIANCE, which will allow to unite the Abai Centers and will make a great contribution to the process of educating young people in accordance with the concept of Abai "Tolyk Adam" (harmonious personality).
