Seminar «The paradigm of teaching the Kazakh language in the communicative direction: content, composition, methods and techniques»

On October 9, 2020, on the educational portal of the SANA intellectual center, in order to provide methodological assistance to teachers of the Kazakh language and literature, a Republican online seminar was held on the topic «the paradigm of teaching the Kazakh language in the communicative direction: content, composition, methods and techniques».

The speaker of the seminar was a corresponding member of the national Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, doctor of pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Director of the scientific and practical center «Latyn» at Abai KazNPU Fauzia Оrazbayeva. She is the author of state standards and standard programs on the subject «Kazakh language», numerous textbooks and author`s manuals, a number of scientific and methodological works in the field of language communication.

The seminar was attended by specialists of Republican, regional, and city departments of education, teachers, regional research and practice centers for working with gifted children, teachers of Republican educational organizations and universities-a total of 207 people took part.

During the workshop, suggestions for the use of handouts and literature were discussed, and the following issues were considered:
1. The role and significance of the communicative approach in teaching the subject «Kazakh language».
2. Communicative direction, concept, types.
3. Connection of language training and communication direction.
4. The content of knowledge studied in the system of teaching the Kazakh language through the communicative direction.
5. The composition of the acquired skills in language learning.
6. Methods and techniques of the communicative method used in the course of classes, effective ways to implement them.
7. The final result of the communication direction.

All participants were given handouts and certificates.
