Meeting with representatives of the Faculty of Education and Human Development of the Education University of Hong Kong

On November 13, 2020, the Department of International Cooperation of Abai KazNPU as part of the Internationalization Strategy`s tasks implementation hosted a meeting via Zoom Online platform with representatives of the Faculty of Education and Human Development of the Education University of Hong Kong led by Professor Lim (Prof Cher Ping LIM), Associate Dean of the Faculty for International Engagement, Ms. Lottie Tang (Ms Lottie TANG), Faculty Project Officer and Associate Professor of teaching Dr Ellen ZHANG.

The delegation of Abai KazNPU was represented by: Vice-rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization Prof. Aktolkyn Kulsariyeva, Vice-Rector for Science and Informatization Prof. Sayabek Sakhiyev, Director of the Institute for Natural Science and Geography Prof. Kulyash Kaimuldinova, Director of the Institute for Pedagogy and Psychology Prof. Galiya Abayeva, Director, Department of International Cooperation Marzhan Tajiyeva and Head, Office for International Programs and Cooperation PhD Bayan Sapargaliyeva.

During the meeting, the delegation of the Education University of Hong Kong presented PPT slides about the Faculty of Education and Human Development. This faculty has 7 pedagogical centers that conduct research in the field of education and psychology, as well as provide professional excellence for in-service teachers of schools and kindergartens.

In addition, the meeting participants discussed the possibilities for further development of cooperation between universities, including educational exchanges, possible joint educational and research programs, joint research activities of the academic staff and joint co-lsupervising of doctoral students`research theses.
