University - wide football competition

In accordance with the University`s Comprehensive Plan for the 2020-2021 academic year, a football competition among faculty and staff was held at the M.Auezov Sports Complex on 14 November 2020.

The sporting event was opened by Yergali Mukhiddinov, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of IACS, and familiarised the participants with the rules of the competition. Seven teams from institutes took part in the competition.

As a result of the competition, the team of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics took 1st place in the team classification, the team of the Institute of Natural sciences and Geography took 2nd place, and the team of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports won 3rd place.

Deputy Director for Educational Work at the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science Jasulan Mukashev was awarded the title «Best Player».

Teachers of the Department of Physical Education and Sport judged the competition.

Football matches were held in compliance with sanitary and epidemiological norms. During the event, medical officers were on duty.
