Kazakhstan-Russia Research Workshop in Education

On 2-3 July, 2018, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University will run Kazakh-Russian research workshop in education.

Participants of the workshop will focus on issues of learning assessment, transforming schools in post-Soviet countries and inequalities in higher education.

At the plenary session the following speakers will give presentations: Director of the Institute for Education of the National Research University "Higher School of Economics" (HSE) Professor Isaac Frumin, Professor Victor Bolotov, Deputy director of the Higher School of Economics Sergei Malinovskii.

Section moderators are Pavel Sergomanov (section "Digital Transformation of Modern School") and Elena Kardanova (section "Evaluation Design (Test Development)").

Expected results:

- scientific and pedagogical forces of the university will be involved in the discussion of contemporary problems of pedagogical science;

- researchers will have an opportunity to deepen their knowledge in the field of perspective directions in pedagogical research, to outline new research directions;

- Master students and doctoral students will learn the design and methodology of the research project.
