Winter Spartakiada «Densaulyk-2021»

On January 13, 2021, in accordance with a comprehensive plan of Abai KazNPU, the opening ceremony of the traditional winter sports games «Densaulyk-2021» took place among the faculty and staff of the university. Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Asan Satmurzaev opened the event, he noted the role of mass sports in the health of the population and wished good luck to all participants.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Vice Rector for Educational Work and Social Development Zhanatbek Ishpekbayev, Vice Rector for Administrative and Economic Work Gabit Dulatov, Director of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports Tokkozha Kozhagulov.

Sports competitions are held in five kinds of sports, where 9 teams participate.

During the event all sanitary and epidemiological norms are observed, including social distance. Medical staff were on duty.

The Spartakiada will finish on January 15 this year. Winners will receive valuable prizes. First place will win 150,000 KZT, second place - 120,000 KZT, and third place - 100,000 KZT. Also, for each sport, the winners of the «Best Player» category will be awarded a cash prize of 10,000 KZT.

Closing ceremony of the Olympics will be held on January 15, 2021 at 16.00 in the sports complex named after M.Auezov.
