The first results of the university`s participation in the «ERASMUS+» program

This year Abai KazNPU entered the consortium of projects «Capacity Building in Higher Education» (CBHE) of the ERASMUS+ program. Within the framework of the ERASMUS+ PVHE program component, it is possible to finance the European Union projects aimed at achieving a long-term impact on universities and higher education systems of the partner countries.

The Erasmus + program in Kazakhstan is coordinated by the National Erasmus+ Program Office (NEO), which provides information support and advice on participation in the program, assistance in finding partners, coordination of the activities of the National Team of Experts on Higher Education Reform (NT EHER), as well as monitoring Erasmus + projects.

At the end of January of 2021 at SKU named after M. Auezov, an online meeting of the Grand Holders of the Erasmus + projects was held. On behalf of the KazNPU named after Abai the coordinator, postdoctoral student B. Sapargalieva and the key person of the project, head of the commercialization department T. Igisinov took part in it.

During the online meeting, presentations, seminars, project advocates, networking events and the exchange of best practices took place over several days.

The representatives of the Agency Erasmus and the working groups of the partner universities of the KAZDUAL project ("Introduction of the Dual System in Kazakhstan") exchanged questions about the progress and stages of the project. The details of the project`s implementation were clarified and useful information was obtained, as a result, mutual understanding was achieved between the negotiators.

Following the online meeting of Grand Holders, a joint meeting of the working groups of two partner universities was held: SKU and KazNPU. The working groups assigned responsibilities and clarified the work plan in the short term.
