meeting with the U.S. Consul General in Almaty Eric Meyer

On 4 February 2021 U.S. Consulate General delegation led by U.S. Consul General in Almaty Eric Meyer visited Abai KazNPU.

Rector Takir Balykbayev briefly presented to the honored guests University`s best practices in internationalization and achievements in education and research of Abai KazNPU.

U.S. Consul General Eric Meyer expressed his gratitude to the rector for inviting him as a guest speaker to deliver a speech for students of Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute and other Institutes. Moreover, he highlighted the importance of universities internationalization. During the meeting, issues of cooperation were also discussed, in particular the second phase of advanced training courses for university teachers within the framework of the Pedagogical University Development Program of the American Council for the teaching staff of Abai KazNPU.
