Results of the international seminar «Implementation of KAZDUAL project at Abai KazNPU»

On April 9, 2021, within the framework of the MONTH OF SCIENCE and the current International Structural Project KAZDUAL - «Implementing Dual System in Kazakhstan», - Capacity building in higher education (CBHE) project of ERASMUS + program was held an International Online Seminar «Implementation of KAZDUAL project at Abai KazNPU». The organizers of the International Online Seminar were: postdoctoral researchers and Commercialization Office of the Science Department at Abai KazNPU.

The seminar was opened by the moderator and speaker of the event Bayan Sapargaliyeva - postdoctoral researcher, coordinator of the KAZDUAL project at Abai KazNPU. The speakers of the seminar were also Talgat Igissinov - head of the Commercialization Office of the Science Department at Abai KazNPU, a key person for technical support of the project, as well as Dina Sabirova - postdoctoral researcher, responsible person for the dissemination and use of the project results, Educational programs analyst of KAZDUAL project in Abai KazNPU.

Moderator-speaker, coordinator of the KAZDUAL project at KazNPU Bayan Sapargaliyeva presented the program of the seminar and shared informayim about the implementation of the project at the university, and also informed the participants of the seminar in detail about the goal, objectives of the project, the working group of KazNPU, the main events and the expected results of the project.

Talgat Igissinov shared information on the topic: «Entrepreneurship and dual education» in which he tried to answer the question «Why is KAZDUAL a structural project?» through the prism of the role of entrepreneurship in Dual Education. Dina Sabirova spoke about the dissemination of experience in social networks. The topic of the speaker`s speech: «Specifics dissemination experience of KAZDUAL project in social networks», which offered practical advice on working on Instagram and Facebook.

The online webinar had about 100 participants, representatives of universities and organizations from Europe, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, including: Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg (Germany), Osh Technological University, Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA),National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan, E.A. Buketov Karaganda University, Shakarim University in Semei, M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, S. Toraigyrov Pavlodar State University, S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, DosmukhamedovAtyrau University, Kazakh National Women`s Pedagogical University, K. Satpayev Kazakh National Research Technical University, Caspian University, Central Asian University, Kazakh State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Electrotechnical College in Semei, Karaganda Higher Polytechnic College, M.Auezov SKU College and Abai KazNPU.

Questions and answers of the webinar participants were discussed at the session. Summing up the results of the online event, it is possible to highlight the high activity of the audience, which indicates that the Dual Education System is relevant in Kazakhstan, the participants of the seminar are unanimous in understanding that it is necessary to develop uniform approaches to career guidance, to attract employers to the process of training specialists, modernization of professional and higher professional education and bridging the gap between these two levels of education.

The participants of the event expressed their gratitude to the speakers and organizers for the useful informationand good organization of the seminar. As recommendations, the seminar participants expressed their desire and readiness to contribute to the KAZDUAL project for its successful implementation.
