Round table on the theme "Confronting Religious Extremism and terrorism: problems and solutions"

   On 23 September 2016, KazNPU n.a. Abai jointly with the Eurasian Law Academy n.a. D.A. Kunaev held a round table on topical at the moment the theme "Confronting Religious Extremism and terrorism: problems and solutions".

   The main purpose of the event  prevention of impact of promotion and the prevention manifestation of religious extremism and terrorism among young people.
   The round table was held on the initiative of Almaty city branch of Peoples Democratic Party "Aul", led by its chairman, Senator Bektayev Ali Abdikarimovich.
   In the round table participated the deputy chairman of the party "Aul", headed by the rector of Omrali Shakarapuly Zhalairi, the scientific community, representatives of state bodies (Prosecutor Office, the National Security Committee, the Department of Internal Affairs, the court, the Office for Religious Affairs, the Akimat and Maslikhat of Almaty), representatives of the clergy, politicians, experts and students.
   A report on "Extremism and terrorism in the ethno-religious environment" was made Doctor of Law, Professor of Eurasian Law Academy n.a. D.A. Kunaev Isayev Adzhimurat Alybalayevich.
   Currently developed a clear path to successful opposition to extremism and terrorism at the state level. Underway variety of advocacy and practical measures to counter terrorism and religious extremism is not at the expense of civil rights and democratic values.
