The winners of the children`s competition «Zhambyl umity» were determined

In honour of International Children`s Day, the Ruhani Zhangyru Centre organised a creative competition, «Zhambyl umity» for children of employees and teachers of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, yang participants recited the poems of Zhambyl Zhabayev. On May 31, 2021, the winners of this competition were determined.

The event was held as part of the celebration of Zh. Zhabaev`s 175th birthday and was supported by the local organization of the professional union of employees of Abai KazNPU.

The purpose of the contest is to promote Kazakh poetry in general and the work of this famous akyn in particular. His spiritual legacy has entered the treasury of national literature.

The contestants took part in three age categories: preschool age (3-5 years); from 1 to 4 primary classes (6-10 years); from 5 to 7 classes (11-13 years).

Among preschool children, the first place was taken by 3-year-old Nurmakhanbet Aikorkem, the second place was taken by 4-year-old Nurlykhan Khanshaiym. The third place was taken by 6-year-old Nurmahanbet Ainara.

Among the primary classes, the first place was taken by Askar Kausar. The winner of the second place is Abdrakyn Dosymzhan, and Zhaksybek Aizere took the third place.

From grades 5 to 7, the first place was taken by Yerlanuly Zhasyn, the second place went to Bolatbekkyzy Araylym. The third place was taken by Slambek Erden.

The awarding ceremony was held in an online format. The winners received diplomas from Rector Takir Balykbayev and valuable prizes prepared by the trade union committee of Abai KazNPU.
