Universiade 2021

In the framework of the XI Summer Universiade of Kazakhstan from 24 to 30 May 2021 at the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Yassaui there was held competitions on togyzkumalak in Turkestan.

The national team consisting of 3 boys and 3 girls (3 +3) of Abai KazNPU won the competition, taking a team first place in the competition among girls. In individual competition gold medals was won by Mahanova Nursulu and Kuatova Aruzhan, silver medal - Aksana Zhumabayeva.

Abai KazNPU team among young men in the composition of Kurban Sunkar, Bakytnur Talant and Serikbay Nurdaulet took VII team place.
