Voluntary Saturday work

Every year, from September to November in Almaty held the traditional month-long on accomplishment and sanitary cleaning of the city.

The main purpose of Voluntary Saturday work is to attract public attention to the preservation of the cleanliness of the streets and the formation of ecological culture.
According to the established schedule Voluntary Saturday work was held on October 29 this year, which took more than 1,500 students and mentors of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.
Akimat of Medeu district have been allocated for the territory of the University. Cleaning work started with a square "Dostyk" up the river "Tіksay".
In order to stimulate the students respect for the cleanliness of our city on the initiative of the Department of Educational work has been organized social action in conjunction with mobile operator Tele 2. During the event each student who distinguished themselves particularly active in the clean-up was handed an internet package in the amount of 1GB.
So, from September 10 to today, our university shows solidarity and responsibility in the city clean-up.

Thanks to the active support of the Directorate of institutions, students of Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai continuing contribution to the improvement of native landscaping streets and courtyards.
