Features of the management and organization of the educational process

in the context of the updated content of education

From 06 to 17 September 2021, the Center for Advanced Studies and Distance Education of Abai KazNPU conducted an 80-hour advanced training course in the Kazakh and Russian languages in the distance learning mode for undergraduates on the topic «Features of the organization and management of the educational process in the context of updated content education».

The course was attended by undergraduates from the institutes of natural science and geography, history and law, pedagogy and psychology.

The teachers of the center Orakova A. Sh., Kornilova T.B., Beldenbaeva M.T. provided information to the listeners about the regulatory documents that guide the organization and management of the educational process in the context of the updated content of education, methods of effective and active learning, methods of differentiation, new requirements for criteria-based assessment.

In practical lessons, on the basis of educational goals in their subjects, the goals of the lesson, assessment criteria, methods of active learning and assignments for formative and summative assessment were formulated, methods of feedback and reflection were generalized.

The undergraduates got acquainted with the organization of methodical work with colleagues through coaching and mentoring approaches. They have worked with modern trends in distance education: e-learning, u-learning, m-learning, smart-learning, fleeping-learning; practiced ways of high-quality communication and documentation using GoogleDrive applications in the educational process «cloud technologies».

At the end of the course, the students expressed their gratitude to the teachers of the center for providing new information, especially noting the relevance of the topics provided by the course, the connection with the topics of their own research.
