Issues of implementation of international scientific projects and

development of interaction with HSE were discussed at Abai University

On October 22, 2021, a meeting was held with representatives of the Higher School of Economics (Moscow, Russia) and scientists from Abai KazNPU. The rector of Abai KazNPU Darkhan Bilyalov, Vice-Rector for Research Yermek Buribayev, Scientific Director of the Institute of Education Isaak Frumin, Director of the Center for Psychometrics and Measurements in Education of the Institute of Education Elena Kardanova and other scientists from HSE and our university were present.

The purpose of the event is to discuss the progress in the implementation of scientific projects and proposals for the development of further cooperation and interaction in the development of new common plans for joint work.

Darkhan Bilyalov noted the importance of international scientific developments, bringing them to their logical conclusion and in-depth analysis of the effectiveness of joint work. According to him, the implementation of joint projects between HSE and Abai University next year will be considered in accordance with the new strategic development plan of Abai KazNPU.

During the meeting, the issues of providing the university with digital educational resources that can be used to organize a clearer educational process were discussed. Also, in the reports of the participants, such problems as the starting inequality of people with disabilities and the conditions of their education at the university, the formation of reading skills among primary school students and universal competencies among students and teachers were considered.

In conclusion, the participants exchanged views on all the issues raised and expressed a unanimous opinion on the need for such meetings and their benefits for all parties.
