Specialists from 10 regions of the country took advanced training courses at Abai KazNPU

From 08 to 19 November 2021, the Center for Advanced Training and Distance Education of Abai KazNPU conducted 80-hour refresher courses in Kazakh and Russian in the mode of distance learning on the topic for managers, educators and methodologists of preschool and extracurricular organizations: «Management of innovative activities of preschool organizations in the context of updating the content of preschool education». The courses were attended by 442 students from 10 regions. Including: 34 heads of children`s educational organizations, 49 methodologists, 305 educators, 34 other specialists.

The initiative to conduct these courses, within the framework of the development strategy of Abai KazNPU is dictated by the process of updating and reformatting preschool education and training in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The course program was aimed at acquiring the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to solve new professional tasks in the context of updating the content of education in accordance with the State Mandatory Standard and the Standard Curriculum of Preschool Education and Training of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The course participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with new normative documents, scientific, pedagogical and methodological literature on updating the content of preschool education and training; to receive support in understanding the theoretical aspects of the educational process for the development of the 4K model; to improve the competence for the implementation of pedagogical activities in accordance with the new requirements of the State Educational System; to improve new approaches and methods in monitoring the results of educational activities; to work out planning skills; to understand the role of the teacher in the psychological and pedagogical support of the educational process of Distance learning.

The teachers of Abai KazNPU - Oshakpayeva Sagynysh and Erkebayeva Saule took part in the work of the courses, who prepared materials on modern pedagogical technologies that are most acceptable for the system of preschool education and training.

The methodologist of «Nursery-kindergarten No. 1 of the city of Aksai» of the Education Department of the Burlin District of the Education Department of the WKR» Nugmanova Samal shared with colleagues the experience of organizing work on interaction with parents in organizations of preschool education and training on the topic «Innovative forms of interaction between kindergarten and family as a condition for creating a unified educational space».

On November 23, 2021, following the results of the courses, a round table was held with the participation of the Vice-rector for Academic Affairs of Abai KazNPU, Bektemesov Maktagali and Director of the Department of Academic Affairs Zhanbekov Khairulla. The guests of this event were the head of the laboratory of preschool preparation and primary education of the National Academy of Education named after Y. Altynsarin Igenbaeva Bijan, Head of the Department of the Republican Institute of Early Childhood Development of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ermanova Maria.

The heads of the university informed the students about the directions of work with preschool educational organizations, assured them of the long-term prospects of methodological support, understanding the importance of feedback.
During the conversation, the heads of preschool organizations shared their problems, put forward a number of interesting proposals concerning ways of interaction on methodological support during the period of updating the content of preschool education.
Methodologist Nugmanova Samal «Nursery-kindergarten No. 1 of the city of Aksai», WKR), based on international experience, proposed to introduce the national traditions of the Far East within the framework of the program «Rukhani Zhangyru»; noted difficulties due to a large number of changes in documents and staff shortages and turnover.

Smagulova Bakhtygul (head of the «Nursery-garden «Ulan», Uzynagash village, Zhambyl district, Almaty region) noted that she has a positive attitude to innovations in the field of preschool education and training, proposed to conclude a memorandum with Abai KazNPU to become an experimental platform.

The teacher of the Department of professional training of educational programs of preschool, social pedagogy and self-knowledge of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Auvakir Bolat Aubakirovich invited specialists of the Republican Institute «Early Development of Children», the NAE named after Y. Altynsarin and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan to cooperate in the preparation of normative documents and teaching materials developed in the future in the field of preschool education and training.

The participants of the courses noted the relevance and high level of the courses conducted by the teachers of Center for advanced training and distance learning Orakova A. Sh., Kornilova T.B., Beldenbayeva M.T., expressed the wish for closer cooperation with the leading pedagogical university of the country; put forward a proposal for long-term patronage of methodological support from the university, the possibility of conducting courses for teachers and heads of preschool organizations.
