Talented students at Abai University

There are many talented and committed young people studying at Abai University. One of them is Sabyrzhan Mustafin, the 4th year student of the specialty «6B01507 (5B011100)-informatics» of Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics.

He is a graduate of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Pavlodar. Since the day he entered Abai University he established an excellent reputation as a disciplined and responsible student, an active participant in community service. During his studies he has mastered his chosen profession perfectly, as evidenced by excellent answers in theoretical and practical classes. Over the years, his interest in robotics has only grown.

Thus, in 2018, S. Mustafin showed very high results in a robotics competition organised among 3rd year students of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science at the Pedagogical STEM Park. In 2020 the 1st degree diploma was awarded to the team jastime consisting of 2nd year students of the specialty «5В011100-Informatics» of Abai KazNPU (S. Mustafin, N. Ergesh and S. Esirkep) in Republican online contest for creation of mobile application «The Best Mobile App-2020» among students of universities. The same year the group «Abai Zhastary» consisting of the students of the speciality «5В011100-Informatics» S. Mustafin, N. Ergesh and A. Sagidullaeva successfully performed in the intellectual IQ Almaty-contest among students of universities and schoolchildren on the TV channel «Almaty».

Since his 3rd year, Sabyrjan actively uses the acquired knowledge during his pedagogical practice, and has proved himself as a qualified specialist. Currently working as an organizer and director of Rolab Academy and RoLab Damu centre he generously shares his experience with pupils. In particular, he conducts an elective course on Robotics at the specialized lyceum No. 39 named after S. A. Hodzhikov and Damu School; their students won the best places in robotics at the regional, national and international levels; about 20 teachers of Almaty got training in robotics, more than 500 school students in the republic. Together with public organizations ITEACH ME and CONNECTED KZ he developed 24 video lessons for teenagers with disabilities in Kazakh and Russian on SCRATCH and video lessons on mobile literacy for seniors; together with the company QBIT first robotics kits were produced in Kazakhstan and implemented in more than 30 schools across Kazakhstan. S. Mustafin organized robotics rooms at DAMU SCHOOL and introduced a robotics class in grades 1-11 as a subject in that school.
