Students are satisfied with the preparation for pedagogical practice

On 5 February 2022, the courses «Preparation of third year students for pedagogical practice in the conditions of dual training in the academic year 2021-2022» were completed.

The Centre of Pedagogical Skills (CPS) of Abai KazNPU initiated a two-stage course for students who are preparing to go into practice in schools. The first 20 hours of courses involved experienced trainers of JSC «National Centre of Professional Development «Orleu». Further 52 hours were spent with the students by trainers from among the trained teachers at the university`s CPS. At the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology students of three specialties of Russian department had training in a single stream: «Pedagogy and Psychology», «Social Pedagogy and Self-Cognition», «Pedagogy and Methodology of Primary Education».

Associate Professor Asel Akpaeva developed a rich course based on the programme recommended by the CPS. A team was established on the TEAMS platform for fruitful work. The course concluded with a placement conference for all three majors. The trainees reflected on the course and gave their feedback.

For example, Karina Zhelezchikova, PP, 2nd year, 3rd year, said: «Thank you very much to our trainer for the informative and, most importantly, interesting practice. I enjoyed working in different applications and showed and taught how to diversify online learning. It was a pleasure to meet you and the guys. Everyone was friendly and understanding, and you always answered my questions, and thank you very much». Prokudina Eva, Pedagogy and methodology of primary education, 3rd year: «These two weeks passed quickly. And that is why the course was very interesting and useful for us. I would like to note that the presentation of information was very clear. We consolidated some of the information, but learned a lot of new and useful things for ourselves. It was good that we were with other groups, as the amount of information was extensive and we got to know them a little better».
