An agreement on cooperation with the Department of Culture of Almaty was signed

On February 9, 2022, within the frameworks of support of national project «Ulttyk Rukhani Zhangyru» between Almaty Department of Culture and Abai KazNPU was signed the Contract about cooperation in the establishment of social, scientific-industrial and cultural relations. The document was signed by Gani Mailibayev, the head of the Department of Culture of Almaty, and Darkhan Bilyalov, the chairman of the board-rector of «Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University» NJSC.

The memorandum will allow the structural units and institutions of the Department to support the scientific and production practices of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral specialties «5B050500-Region Studies,» «8D03110-Region Studies,» «6B02202-History (scientific direction),» 5B020300-History, to strengthen further development of cultural relations for the introduction of new developments of domestic and foreign specialists in the development of local self-government.

At the same time, thanks to the agreement, the university will provide ample opportunities to visit sites in the city that promote meaningful involvement of students in the cultural and spiritual life of the southern capital, including all-round development of civic skills and personal qualities of young people from remote rural areas.

Both sides underscored the importance of the state program «Rukhani Zhangyru» and agreed to develop joint projects that will give impetus to strengthening this direction.

The Rector of the University expressed special gratitude to the Akimat of Almaty, the leadership of the Department of Culture for the support in the conclusion of agreements on cooperation and expressed confidence in the effectiveness of interaction.
