The training «Effective ways to search for scientific materials» was conducted

At Abai KazNPU on February 25, 2022, a training course «Effective ways to search for scientific materials» in an online/offline format for undergraduate, graduate and PhD students and young researchers was held with great success.

The event, organized by the Council of Young Researchers of Department of Science, was attended by about 150 people.

The event was opened by the Vice-rector for Research Yermek Buribayev and wished the participants good luck.

The first speaker was the chairman of the council, Shahislam Layshanov, who has revealed the issues of search, selection, download of scientific articles using the platforms Google scholar, ERIC, Science researcher, eLibrary.

The head of the Information Committee of the Council Talgat Kilybai has introduced the features of the search for articles and publications in the Scopus database.

Member of the Council, Senior lecturer Arailym Utemisova has shared information on the search, preparation and publication of articles in journals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the training, the young researchers posed their questions and received answers, the process turned into an interesting and useful discussion.
