Meeting with representatives of the New Generation School - NGS

On March 17, 2022, the Chairman of the Board - Rector of Abai KazNPU Darkhan Bilyalov met with representatives of the New Generation School - NGS. It is a leader in the field of private education in Kazakhstan, and actively uses the most modern pedagogical methods and innovative technologies. The meeting was also attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Maktagali Bektemesov and Vice-Rector for Social Development Shyngys Nurlanov.

During the event, the representatives of this school were acquainted with the activities of Abai University, the main directions of the University Development Strategy. They spoke in detail about the ongoing projects of Honors College, Digital Volunteering and the Web Tutor programme.

The issues of interaction with schools, long-term cooperation and the conclusion of a memorandum between NGS and Abai University were discussed, in particular, on the organization of student practice, the formation of a teacher of a new formation, the exchange of experience, holding common events, the possibility of mutual training of our employees, modern approaches in secondary education, the introduction of new educational programs.

Darkhan Bilyalov emphasized the importance of interaction between the university and schools and their directors, improving the quality of secondary and higher education, training modern specialists and noted that our university is ready to assist in providing teaching staff, in developing and implementing joint projects aimed at strengthening cooperation between all participants in the system education of the country.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on the visit of directors of institutes and teaching staff of the university to the New Generation School - NGS. Work in this direction will be continued.
