A small-sized school - in the focus of our department
Last academic year, the Department of Foreign Languages of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, in partnership with small-sized schools №227 named after A.Mustafayev in the village of Koktem and №77 in the village of Kulandy of the Aral district of Kyzylorda region, signed a bilateral memorandum to establish partnerships, communication for the exchange of experiences, mutual understanding and cooperation in the field of education by supporting professional and cultural activities, joint scientific, educational and methodological assistance to school teachers, supervising research projects of teachers and pupils.
Based on these aims, on behalf of Foreign Languages Department, organized under the guidance of teacher Nurekeshova G.R. a pilot project was implemented for students of the two schools mentioned above.
Within the framework of this project, excellent students of the volunteer group of the specialty «Foreign language: two foreign languages» began to conduct additional classes with schoolchildren in English twice a week to gain experience and exchange innovative activities.
The students who teach the pupils: Saylaubay Ayagoz, Beisebayeva Akerke, Suyindik Akerke, Zholdasbekova Balnur, Shukirbayeva Bagdat.
A good initiative was met with great interest not only by the school administration, but also by the parents of the pupils. It was a big help and news for the school. Despite the difficulties with connecting to the Internet, the school administration is doing everything possible to provide additional classes of pupils right-on.
Additional classes are attended by 17 pupils of grades 5-6 of Kulandy school №77 and 34 pupils of grades 3-9 of Koktem school №227.
This project, which was requested by the school authorities and pupils, will last until the end of this school academic year.
