Results of the Republican competition of future teachers are summed up

On April 22, 2022, XIII Republican Subject Olympiad on the direction «6B013-Training of teachers without subject specialization» was held at the department of vocational training on the elementary education program of Abai KazNPU. Students from 18 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in creative competition of future teachers of primary classes.

The main goal of the event is to reveal the professional and personal potential of the students, creation of conditions for self-realization as well as formation of active professional self-consciousness.

This year`s Olympiad is special as it was held in the year of 150th anniversary of outstanding teacher Akhmet Baitursynov. Significant event of this school year was the return to schools of Alіppe, based on the principles of A.Baitursynov. The author of Alіppe is the head of EP «Primary Education» of Abai KazNPU, Professor A.E. Zhumabayeva.

The participants competed in three contests: Creative Contest - teams` business card. Theoretical competition - argumentative essay on one of the following topics: «Akhmet Baitursynov is a spiritual leader of the nation»; «The importance of scientific works of Akhmet Baitursynov for modern primary education»; «Immortal works of Akhmet Baitursynov»; «If a child does not call the country home, no child will call this country home - A. Baitursynov». Practical competition - presentation on the theme «Akhmet Baitursynov - teacher of the nation».

The jury was headed by Maralbek Ermukhamet, deputy director of the Baitursynov Institute of Linguistics. The jury was headed by Maralbek Ermukhamet, deputy director of the Baitursynov Institute of Linguistics and PhD. The panel consisted of prominent scholars of the republic and school principals.

At the end of the event the final results were announced. First Degree Diploma was awarded to the team of Kazakh State Women`s Teacher Training University. The winners received diplomas, certificates and cups.

All team leaders and jury members were given letters of appreciation on behalf of the Rector of Abai KazNPU.
