Problems of translation and oriental studies in the work of Akhmet Baitursynov

On April 27, 2022, in the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Conference «The Legacy of Akhmet Baitursynov and National Values», dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh statesman and public figure, a meeting of the section «Problems of Translation and Oriental Studies in the work of Akhmet Baitursynov» was held at the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation Studies.

The section was attended by: Turkish researcher V.Aşkaroğlu, as well as teachers, doctoral students, undergraduates and students of Abay University - a total of 45 people. The section was moderated by Doctor of Philology, professor A.K. Zhumabekova.

The speakers highlighted the multifaceted work of Akhmet Baitursynov as a scientist, translator, teacher, whose legacy remains relevant at the present stage of a new round of development of our society.
