An " Open Door Day" has been organized On 15 March, 2017, at the Preparatory faculty and Chair of Philological Disciplines for Foreign Citizens and Pre-University training. At the event were foreign guests: Mr.Zhong Sing Ming - Consul General of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Regimantas Jablonskas- Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania in Almaty , Mr. Seyed Javad Jalali Kiyasari-Director of the Cultural Center of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Cecilia Olivera Mullin- Kazakhstan Foundation for Cultural, Social and Educational Development (KFCSED), Mr. Pham Van Tuan - Chairman of the Vietnamese Society in Kazakhstan, as well as A.T. Kulsariyeva Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Abai KazNPU , A.T. Iskakova - Chief Scientific Secretary of Abai KazNPU, A.A. Mombek-deputy chief editor of the scientific and methodological journal "Pedagogy and Psychology", Abzal Muner-representative of the Yili Normal University (China), Anuar Nakisbekov- specialist of the Division of international educational programs ( International Cooperation Department).
Foreign students and trainers of the preparatory faculty presented to the guests a concert. Students from the Yili Normal Institute (China) spoke about the friendship of the People`s Republic of China and Kazakhstan and sang the Russian song "Katyusha".
Students from South Korea talked about the development of relations between Kazakhstan and South Korea, about their training at Abai KazNPU, about Korean traditions and welcomed the guests with Korean modern dance.
International group of students from Vietnam, Iran, Lithuania, Turkmenistan, China, South Korea and Africa told to the guests about how they study at Abai KazNPU and sang the song "My Kazakhstan" together with the preparatory faculty`s trainers.
Students of the preparatory faculty told about the Nauryz holiday traditions, performed kyui on kobyz and dombra.
Foreign guests congratulated students and trainers of the preparatory faculty with the upcoming Nauryz holiday, wished to the University well-being and prosperity, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome.
