The «Mathematics in the Language of the Heart» event at Almaty Regional Orphanage  No. 1

On April 18, 2022, according to the research directions of the Meirim club under the leadership of Shirinbaeva G.K., 1st-year volunteer students Ungarova A, Gabibullakyzy G, Zhannatkyzy A, Serikbai A, Balurazov D, Elemesov D, Baktybai A, Amangeldi M, Ermekbayev U, Sarsenov A, specialty 6B01801 - «Social Pedagogy and self-knowledge» conducted a tutoring charity event «Mathematics with the language of the heart» for preschool and primary school children in the Almaty regional Orphanage No. 1.

The great mathematician Eduard Frenkel in his book says «Mathematics is a portal to an unknown world, the key to understanding the deep secrets of the universe and ourselves,» and calls to see the mysterious world of mathematics. On this basis, the volunteers held a heart lesson under the motto «First love, then teach mathematics.» The content of the program volunteers included value-oriented didactic techniques such as: Circle «From heart to heart»; «Positive attitude. Light»; joining the group «Mosaic construction»; exercise «Your name»; training «All together!»; competition «From one hundred to one hundred»; «Who is faster?» math assignment (+-); Watching a parable; playing «Trees in the forest»; drawing on the topic «Mathematics that loves me»; listening to a song in a group. At the end of the lesson, after holding mood and emotional state reflections with the children, «positive attitude», the final minute of silence was established. Sweets and hearts were distributed to all children.
