Project «Abay in the context of world culture» abroad

From 16 to 25 May 2022 in the grant funding of research projects for the current year teachers and staff of «Abai KazNPU» held a trip abroad for members of the research team of the project «Abai in the context of world culture» in Gazi University (Ankara, Turkey).

Members of the working group - senior researcher, Professor S.B. Begalieva, leading researchers, associate professor G.M. Nurazkhunova, senior teacher E.S. Shmakova - read a course of lectures on «Abai in the context of world culture». In the framework of the author`s MOOC project of the same name they also presented and tested the practical lessons and fragments of control and measurement modules. Gazi University staff and students attended the lectures with great interest, asking questions and engaging in discussions. The most active participants were given certificates on passing the course «Abai in the context of world culture». In turn, Turkish colleagues handed out certificates and letters of appreciation to teachers of Abai University.

The planned round table was held, during which the prospects for implementation of the course in the educational process of Gazi University and the prospects for cooperation between our two universities were discussed, the presentations «Kazakhstan in the world educational system», «Cooperation and innovation in the field of international science and teaching» were demonstrated. During the working visit, the members of the working group visited the monuments of great Abay in Istanbul and Ankara. In Istanbul, in area Zaytun Burnu, at monument of Abay was conducted meeting with known scientist of Kazakh origin Abduvahob Kara, who wished success to colleagues in creation of author`s course.
