On the way of developing the professional skills

On September 1, 2022, teaching practice began in the third year students, within the framework of which, on September 5, Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology held an introductory conference for the specialties «Russian language and literature» and «Russian language and literature in schools with a non-Russian language of teaching». In the 2022-23 academic year, pedagogical practice takes place in a new format and is divided into two semesters with a separation from theoretical training. Also, this year, the staff of methodologists has been increased in the direction of reducing the number of assigned trainees. These measures are aimed at improving the quality of teaching practice.

During the conference trainees were familiarized with the purpose and objectives of the practice, and mentors were assigned. Head of the Department, Professor S.D. Abisheva noted that pedagogical practice is an important milestone on the way to the formation of a teacher. After the introductory conference, the mentors with trainees visited the assigned schools.
