Department of Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy: Meetings with 1st year students

From 3 to 6 October 2022 Dildabek Didarbek, Director of the Department of Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy acquainted first-year students of seven institutes of our university with the activities of the department he heads and the work of centres under the Department.

Students met with representatives of the Department of Youth Affairs, the National Centre for Upbringing, the Centre for Psychological Support, the Project Office «Rukhani Zhangyru» and doctors of the health centre.

Head of the Office of Youth Affairs Pirali Raiymbek called on students to effectively use their leisure time, to be active in cultural, political, intellectual and sports events held in academic buildings and student dormitories, to participate in youth programs.

Specialists of the centre for students and staff stress management in the sphere of interpersonal relations, provision of psychological help in social adaptation in the changing social-economic conditions of life handed out the lists of points of activities to the students.

Aliyaskar Aidan, chief specialist on educational, social work and youth policy, told about benefits for students of socially needy groups.

The Centre of Young Akyns-Improvisers named after O. Dosbosynov (leader Sezimkhan Shugaiyp) presented information about their work and invited those who wished to take part.

Doctors at the health centre explained to the first-year students about their admission to the health centre and how they can help with their health.

During the meeting, the students showed a lively interest in the life of the university and received answers to many questions.
