Library resources aimed at developing the scientific potential of young scientists

On October 14, 2022 in Abai KazNPU a webinar «Library resources aimed at developing the scientific potential of young scientists» was held.

The reports were made by the director of the University Scientific Library Nurgul Imansydykova, PhD doctoral student Zhumabaeva Zhazira, lecturer of Oxford University Press Katherine Staples, head of the Information Technology department of the Scientific Library of Abai KazNPU Atantayeva Aizhan.

Katherine Staples gave a virtual overview of Oxford University Press scientific library and explained the possibilities of the library for young scientists. Nurgul Zhailauovna Imansydykova gave a detailed overview of the reference and retrieval system of the library, highlighted the possibilities of access to bibliographic resources. Atantayeva Aizhan dwelled on the peculiarities of electronic libraries databases on the site www.library.kaznpu.kz Zhumabayeva Zhazira analyzed electronic catalogues of scientific library.

Participants of the webinar received direct answers to the questions that arose during the presentation.
