Exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Kazakhstan

On November 8-9, 2022, an exhibition titled «Nomadic civilization: letters, decrees of the great Khagans» was held at Abai KazNPU, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Kazakhstan. The aim was to promote nomadic civilization, national traditions, ancient scripts and the history of diplomatic service of both countries.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the First Secretary of the Embassy of Mongolia in our country B. Damba, Consul of the Embassy of Mongolia in Kazakhstan Ch. Bayarmagnai, expert of International Turkic Academy, Cultural Ambassador of Mongolia A. Toishanov, famous scientists, artists, representatives of mass media, teaching staff and students of Abai KazNPU.

Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Maktagali Bektemesov noted the importance of the exhibition, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, familiarity with the best works of fine art of Mongolia for our university, as well as the role of letters and decrees of the great khans in the history of nomads.

The author of the exhibition is Erdenehuiag Ariunbold, a member of the «TITEM-ART» Academy, Doctor of Arts, master of kusnihat, the best worker of Mongolian culture and ambassador of Mongolian culture. The works of this renowned master have been shown in Japan, France, the United States, Russia and Iran.

In addition to letters, khan decrees and symbols, the exhibition featured historic gold and silver coins, and ancient Uyghur and Mongolian national written heritage.
