Student of Abai KazNPU is a medalist of the Sambo World Championship

From November 11 to 14, 2022 in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), world championship in sambo among adults and women was held. The purpose of the competition was to develop and popularize sambo in the international arena, increase solidarity of states and strengthen their friendship.

Wrestlers from 50 countries of the world took part in the competition. Member of the national team of Kazakhstan, 4th year student of Abai KazNPU Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports Abenova Arailym became a bronze medalist in the weight category of +78 kg. Her sports instructor is Honoured Trainer Saidakov Yerkin.
