Collaborative scientific and methodological seminar with school teachers

A scientific and methodological seminar on the topic «The state of teaching Kazakh literature in schools with a non-Kazakh language of teaching» was held at Abai University as part of the implementation of the »Zhas Galym» grant project for 2022-2024 «Teaching Kazakh literature in schools with a non-Kazakh language of instruction: history, present, future» (AP 15473235) on November 16, 2022. Seminar moderator is a Postdoctoral Researcher, Project Leader, PhD Zhanagul Sametova.

Professors and methodologists of the Institute of Philology, teachers of the Kazakh language and literature of schools with a non-Kazakh language of teaching in Almaty, as well as students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the training program for teachers of the Kazakh language and literature took part on the scientific and methodological seminar.

The participants of the seminar spoke about the process of conducting lessons of the Kazakh language and literature in schools with a non-Russian language of teaching, and about the problems and methods of teaching. The speakers of the seminar, Doctor of Philology, Professor Saule Abisheva, Candidates of Pedagogical Sciences, methodologists Aitzhamal Rauandina, Ryskul Borash answered the students` interesting questions. At the end of the seminar, the teachers of the school were presented with letters of thanks on behalf of the vice-rector for research activities of the university Yermek Buribayev.
