Mombek Aliya Anuarbekovna
Aliya Anuarbekovna Mombek is a candidate of pedagogical sciences, an associate professor at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, a corresponding member of the International Academy of Pedagogical Education Sciences (IAPES), a member of the Scientific Council on the History of Music Education, an academician of the International Academy of Informatization (IAI), a member of the Educational and Methodical Association of the Republican Educational and Methodical Council (EMAREMC) in the field of "Music Education," and a member of editorial boards of international scientific journals (Germany, Russia, Ukraine). In 1975, she graduated from the Kazakh State Women`s Pedagogical Institute with a degree in "Music and Singing" and began her professional career as a piano teacher at a children`s music school. In 1978, she was invited to work at the I. Zhanzugurov Taldykorgan Pedagogical Institute, where she held positions as an assistant, lecturer, senior lecturer, and head of the Department of Music Education. In 1999, Aliya entered the targeted postgraduate program and successfully defended her doctoral dissertation titled "Professional and Pedagogical Orientation of Future Music Teachers` Instrumental Training" in 2003. Since 2003, she was a senior lecturer and associate professor in the Department of Music Teaching Theory and Methodology, serving as the lead specialist (academic secretary) of the Educational and Methodological Association at Abai Kazakh State Women`s Pedagogical University. From 2004 to 2007, she was a doctoral student at Kazakh National Pedagogical University. In April 2008, Aliya A. Mombek was appointed as the dean of the Faculty of Music Education and Culture at Abai Kazakh State Women`s Pedagogical University. In 2009, she was transferred to the position of Vice-Rector for Research at the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy. In 2012, she was appointed as the Deputy Head of the Department of Science, and since 2015, she has served as the Deputy Chief Editor of the scientific and methodological journal "Pedagogy and Psychology." In 2021, she competed successfully for the position of associate professor in the Department of Music Education and Choreography at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. Aliya A. Mombek has participated in governmental and accreditation commissions, as well as in evaluating document expert for the "Best University Teacher" grant competition and awards in the field of science and state scientific scholarships. She has served as an expert in the fields of pedagogy and psychology, and as an expert for the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Quality Assessment of Education (IAAQAE), among other roles. Alya A. Mombek has authored over 180 scientific publications, including monographs, teaching materials, and articles in journals listed in the Catalogue of Publications of the Committee for Control of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (CPCCESMESRK), WoS, Scopus, and others, her Hirsch index is 3. She has received numerous awards, including the jubilee medal "90 years of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University," the jubilee medal "50 years of ӨМСИ," the medal "ҚР Еңбек сіңірген қызметкері" from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the First Degree Diploma "Best Research Fellow-2023" from an international project of the CIS countries. She has also been awarded the medal "Ғылымды дамытуға сіңірген еңбегі үшін," the honorary badge "Үздік қызметкер," and the honorary badge "Үздік ұстаз" from Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.
