General notes:

• All DAAD scholarship programs may be involved students, teachers

scientists and accredited universities and research institutions of the Republic Kazakhstan.
• An application for the grant must contain the required number of copies - depending on the
the program. Copies of education certificates must be notarized
(Some documents may be certified by the university). Go to original documents
accompanied by certified translations into German or English. Application for participation in the competition completed in German or English.
• Application deadline - until October 31, 2011. The documents must be submitted  either in person at DAAD Information Centre in Almaty at Pushkin 111/113, Office 18, or send  by mail to the Consulate General of Germany in Almaty: Ivanilova 2, 050059 Almaty,
marked "for the DAAD office in Almaty." Filing directly in  DAAD headquarters in Bonn is impossible!
• Competitive selection is performed by an independent commission composed of professors of German  universities. The main selection criteria are the professional qualifications
applicant and the assessment of its educational or research project.
